I live less than forty miles from Manchester and go in each week to sing less than a mile from the arena where the awful atrocity took place yesterday, an arena I myself have visited more than once.  Words can’t describe how I feel today – this act of terrorism was close to home, and it hits home that much harder because of that.  I wondered whether to leave off blogging for a few days but decided that the best way to react to stuff like this is to carry on as normal whilst staying aware of all those who have lost loved ones way before their time.  It’ll make me feel good to keep on blogging like this, and I hope it makes you, my lovely reader, feel good too.  I thought I could best send out a message by wearing the biggest dress I could find, and they don’t come much bigger than this new one from Sascha’s Designs.

It’s still possible in these mesh-charged days in Second Life to get a perfect gorgeous gown that’s still essentially an old-fashioned flex offering, and here’s a brand new example from Sascha’s Designs.  Though the basic dress is mesh, all of the trimmings are decidedly flex and move and float with your body in a frankly adorable way!  The beautiful hair is the new offering from D!va at the current C88.

Serendipity is a great thing!  On the same day both this blood-spattered wedding dress and the gruesome burn tattoos dropped into my SL inbox and I realised they would make an amazing combination – I hope you agree.  The dress is by Sascha’s Designs and whilst the basic dress is mesh there’s a very realistic prim veil that adds just the right amount of glamour (plus it’s blood-spattered too!).  The body and face burn marks are from Izzie’s and they too are very realistic, and somehow cute at the same time – go figure! Oh, almost forgot, the skin is a new system skin from Glam Affair, available at their mainstore, and just perfect for those of you who prefer to go the non-mesh head route.
