Great dresses in Second Life come in two categories, those that you adore but would be just too outrageous to wear in Real Life and those that you adore and just wish you could find in Real Life, that you would wear every minute of every day if you had the chance. This wonderful dress from M.Cherla fits completely into the second category. I love the styling and the colour, and I can just feel the dress on me, feel and smell the fabric.  It is altogether my favourite dress since I started Second Life ❤️❤️❤️.  And I pictured it as I came out of one of my favourite stores in Second Life, Maitreya.  Second Life does not get any better than this! Fallout Wasteland is a really wonderful place to take atmospheric pictures and not as forbidding as its post-apocalyptic name suggests (there are even lots of freebie gifts scattered around!).  I wore this lovely outfit from OVH.  It’s really (I think) a skirt and top with a dinky little belt, but it’s sold as a dress and is great value.  I tried out some hair from Blues for the very first time and thought red hair would suit the atmosphere – I’m sure I’ll be revisiting that store!  I finished the ensemble with my lovely little Maitreya boots.

Like most of you I guess, I get inspiration for new outfits by shamelessly raiding other bloggers.  I got this outfit from Zoe Gloster’s wonderful Penguins blog.  I saw it and I had to buy the outfit!  I even bought the cuter than cute Romper Suit and stylish Jacket in the same colours – imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  I realise now that I don’t have as much from The Secret Store as I ought to have.  Their designs are adorable, cute but also extremely savvy, but the attention to detail is amazing.  Look at the amazing textures on the two close up photos of front and back below.  I love the subtle pastel shades of the suit and the vivid leather of the jacket and the little bow is sweet beyond measure.  Rather than roam Second Life, I took these photos at my lovely little beach-side house at FairWinds Beach.  The views out to sea are glorious – I was actually only about three feet offshore when I took these pics! Danni in Paradise

I was helping Danni Ravinelli find locations for her latest, sure to be wonderful, photo masterpiece, when I chanced upon Annon.  This is surely the most beautiful place in Second Life, simply gorgeous.  I invited Danni over and as she was scouting for the ideal spot for her photo I took the opportunity of taking some simple snaps of her.  It’s amazing what you end up with when you don’t think too much about posing, but I think the end results are pretty good! Thanks, Danni, and thanks for wearing such a cute outfit too!

Sometimes I like to visit the darker side of Second Life.  Innsmouth is a place that wouldn’t look right in sunlight – a New England town devastated by some unnamed disaster and left empty and desolate.  I found this squalid room in a squalid house at the end of the street and it seemed perfect for a picture! I love high waist skirts – they seem to emphasise the length of my legs and make them go on for ever.  I’m wearing a recent one from the Secret Store that makes a perfect combination with the loose polka dot cropped top from the same store.  I’ve paired them with a free pair of Slink heels available, along with five others, as free gifts from the L.Warwick store – a really stunning freebie.  This is the first time I’ve pictured myself in my new Slink Physique Mesh Body.  It won’t really work with my normal Curio skins so I got a Lara Hurley skin which with freckles attached is utterly delightful!  The hair is one of my all time favourites from Truth.  Where would we be without Truth 🙂

Today I’ve been having a lovely Sunday relax in Baja Norte, enjoying the laid back ambience and amazing views.  I’ve been wearing the new (to me, anyway) Maitreya jumpsuit.  Some SL designers bombard you with product, and some bide their time.  Maitreya take their time and as a result pretty well everything they release is worth buying.  The boots, which I just adore, are also from Maitreya.  I also took the opportunity to try out the new hair from Argrace, Their hair is always subtly pretty rather than in your face, and this is no exception. I think it goes well with this outfit.

I’m going to try and visit a different location for most of these blog entries (until I run out and have to recycle!).  This time I’m in Frisland on Laluna Island, a beautiful rustic wilderness in the middle of which sits this adorable log cabin.  I’m wearing a sweet little 60s inspired (I guess) shift dress dress from ryvolter (or is that .:ryvolter?) that would not look out of place in an Austin Powers movie 🙂  As you can see it shows just a little enticing bit of bare flesh.
