This wasn’t my first avatar in Second Life – I’ve actually been around now for about 5 years.  However, yesterday marked two years in this particular body.  Two wonderful years they have been when I think I’ve discovered my true SL vocation, which is to share my love of SL fashion with all of you lovely people!  Even in that time fashion has come on in leaps and bounds.  The detail on clothing is now amazing and the advent of mesh bodies has made dressing up trickier but has also meant we have all never looked prettier (and that includes the blokes!).  I’m yet to be convinced about mesh heads though, and will remain so until you’re really able to edit the facial features.  Finally, the landscapes of SL have never been more dramatic when they are now, as shown especially by Tillicum Island, the location for these two shots.

I thought I’d celebrate by 2nd Rez Day by indulging in my other passion, ballet.  I found this lovely pose set by Frozen (no, not that Frozen!) at the Color Me Project which really captures the essence of dance, especially when matched with this uber pretty little dress from Milk Tea at the same event.  The dress also includes stocking appliers and a cute pair of shoes (not pointe shoes sadly!).  My two favourite hairs of the moment round the look off, the gorgeous Robin hair from [RunAway] and the super new Bexley hair from Truth, available at their store or on Marketplace.

Big Hugs, Rachel ❤️

Happy Rez Day to me!
